Welcome to Band on a Budget, where you can purchase quality, used band instruments for less.
Band on a Budget was founded by an experienced band director who knows what it's like to have to sell chocolate bars to get instruments for students. When you have limited funds and have to earn every dollar you get for your program, you want to make every dollar count.
HOW IT WORKS
We acquire the instruments you need WHEN you order them. Since we don't maintain a large inventory of instruments or have to manage a large warehouse space, we can keep costs lower and pass the savings on to you. All our instruments are serviced by an experienced repairman before being delivered, so you receive a quality used instrument for less.
THE DOWNSIDE
Since items are not already in stock and are serviced right before being sent, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
FOR SCHOOLS
First, tell us what instruments you need by filling out our Google Form. We will send a quote for your approval. To proceed, we will need a purchase order and copy of your school's tax exempt letter.

It's scary shopping for used band instruments. You never know if the person online is a scammer or if the seller is being honest about the playing condition of the instrument. Band on a Budget takes the stress out of buying a used instrument. Since we only sell reputable brands and service all our instruments before delivery, you know you are getting a quality instrument at a fraction of the price of buying new.
